April 26, 2009- 11th Annual Davis Car Show & Swap Meet (w/ GGVCOA)

Hi Everyone,

This event is not to be missed!

Now in its 11th year, the Annual Davis Car Show & Swap Meet is one of the larger events on the West Coast, drawing members from Southern CA all the way up to the state of Washington and across the Sierras to the state of Nevada.

All Volvos are welcome whether they be a work-in-progress, a daily driver, showroom beauty, or a highly modified (race) car.

Where:
Central Park
Davis, CA 95616

When:
Sunday, April 26, 2009
The event officially starts at 9:00A.
If you plan to show your car and/or sell in the swap area, arrive between 7:00A and 8:30A.

Entry fee is $10.00 for VCOA members.
$15.00 for non-members.

After the event, which usually wraps around 2 - 3P, there will be an informal dyno session at Evil Genius Racing with John Pagel. Here's a quote from John over on the 1800 list:

Yes, at my shop. We drop the price to $40 for 3 pulls (including wide band AFR) during the Volvo Dyno day. 2 wheel drive only, sorry AWD guys. The idea is to head over to my shop (7 miles) after the Davis meet winds up, Dyno cars until they're all done, go to sleep and then head off to the track early in the morning..

We'll have 48 hours of Volvo madness.
